Both of the above.But big and bouncy or small and firm ?

Not me, get rid of farming subsidies.
Yep and he'd be telling Clarkson he hadn't a clue what he was talking about when he got the answer wrong.No use as they only get 60 seconds to answer.
We can also all agree that Brexit is a disaster for the UK.Another thing we can all agree on, Timothy Dalton was the best James Bond and Daniel Craig can't act.
....but only on a woman !Boobs are brilliant.
A democratic government would be nice.Any number of threads on here reveal how much we disagree on whatever subject is under discussion. This makes me wonder if there is anything we all agree on, hopefully there are many.
Clearly it won't be likely to be regarding religious things, clearly it won't be regarding Brexit or the EU, and immigration is a non-starter; yet many of us on different 'sides' in those discussions are united on the subject of Ukraine, and vice versa.
Are there some significant things / policies which simply aren't controversial and aren't divisive...? I'll offer some that I think are and welcome suggestions of more which may fit the bill. It will be interesting to see how many we can come up with.
1) There should be a general freedom of speech and expression;
2) There should be democratic government;
3) There should be the rule of law;
4) There should be decent roads.
Note to self: be prepared for someone to disagree with the idea of this sort of thread...
They canA democratic government would be nice.
People could hold votes to leave the UK.
Like in NI say?
Not according to the Tory party.They can
Are they who you listen to, as a rule?Not according to the Tory party.
They are the government at the moment.Are they who you listen to, as a rule?
That wouldn`t please the greens and re-wilders.Agreed. The more schemes and fudging about the more contorted the marketplace becomes. Remove all that carp and let the industry shape shift into what it really should look like.
There is a legal mechanism for that.A democratic government would be nice.

I think that would be up to them.There is a legal mechanism for that.
Out of interest, if there is a vote and if it goes to Irish reunification... do you think the people who don't want to be 'Irish' should leave, or just stay there and be British there, or start an armed struggle because they don't like the majority decision, or what?
I agree that the choice would be theirs, I just wondered what your opinion is.I think that would be up to them.
Given that we have peace and any vote would be democratic I don't think armed struggle is likely.
Since I'm not able to vote there I don't really have an opinion at the moment.I agree that the choice would be theirs, I just wondered what your opinion is.
I hope that it would be peaceful.
Come off it... you've no vote in Ukraine or Russia, but you have opinions about that. I guess you have no vote in Hungary or Slovakia, but I think it highly improbable that you have no opinions about what's happening in these countries. I don't think you have a vote in the US, but I know you have opinions about happens there, because I have read them, and agree with most.Since I'm not able to vote there I don't really have an opinion at the moment.
Just noticed this and it seems that you are not taking the discussion sufficiently seriously; you have entirely neglected to mention the most obvious option that most of us can probably agree on: medium sized, fairly bouncy and quite firm...Both of the above.
