'Wanted' ads... again.

A chap wants a thing. The things in question start at around £2,000 for one in working order. I have one, so I contact him. Mine is reasonably priced (obviously! (y) ) and I hint I might be open to a reasonable offer. He replies that it's out of his budget. OK... so what was his budget? £500.

For f**k's sake. Lambretta or Vespa, anyone?

Today I have been mostly falling out with bags of Lithan fertiliser. I had 84 ton delivered, and was concerned that they didn't take up too much room in the shed. So I made the bold decision to stack them 3 high. I must admit, I was pretty pleased with the result. A lovely neat stack, all squarely placed and tightly packed. Non of them were leaning, and it didn't take up too much room.
How wrong could I have been. Upon entering the building this morning, the hole stack looked like it had been flattened by a giant. They were everywhere. Pushed up to a tractor, all over some workshop shelving, but miraculously non had split. What sh#ty things they are to stack. May as well as try and plie up shopping bags full of water. Has anybody else experienced this? Or am I just crap on a telehandler.

Store a lot of it for merchant, it's not you, the stuffs a nightmare.

The bottom of the bags aren't flat, the outer bags are thin and the product runs like water. If the stack has slumped in the boat the bags can be misshapen too.

One year there a shipment of Lithan or Pulan that had different sizes of bags mixed thru and the taller ones had a lot of air sealed in. Like trying t stack bouncy castles.

Worst pub meal! Premier inn, Andover should be near the top, dirty tables, cold coffee from the machine, gammon steak from Goodyear, and a feeling that putting on overalls would be a good idea before sitting down!

The National Express coach service from Victoria to Ringwood on a Friday afternoon.
I always say I'll learn my lesson , but then forget and think "Oh, what an adventure- and it's only £15!"
I couldn't stop singing "The song" in my head and it just about summed it up. The growling old dear who wouldn't smile, the snotty kids bouncing around shouting "Are we there yet?" every 15 seconds in the seat behind, suspicious looking characters eating incredibly spicy food in front, Sharon and Tracy talking incessantly as loud as possible for 3 hours about their "friend" in accounts, and teenagers with micro headphones blasting out a tinny wrap beat.
3 and half hours and I never thought I'd say it, but our little town looked like the best place on earth when we finally emerged out of the traffic jams and into the fresh air. :)
