what grinds your gears

I find Facebook to be full of kids and dole-types. Lot's of 'best price pal' etc.
I've given up selling on FB after I sold a tatty wardrobe for £20 + £10 to deliver it to the next village. They had asked for full measurements, photos of the inside, distance between the rails etc. I said it wasn't in great condition and they were happy as it was only in short term rent accommodation.
I arrive, manhandle it out of the pickup as the husband was running late but would help me inside with it in 5 mins. 15 mins later he arrives, no panic I've nothing better to do.
Once inside it takes up the whole hallway, "any chance you can help me upstairs with it mate?" I thought might as well as I was stuck the wrong side of it to the front door!
From my position I had to go up first. Tidy; he gets the heavy end.
4 stairs up it is wedged solid against the stair, the kite turn and the skeeling!
I ended up excusing myself and exiting via the front bedroom window and down the porch roof!

Never again!

Messers # 3

Someone posts an add wanting hay on FB.
I reply to the add saying, I've got some hay.
" Tidy I'll have some "
Send my address and phone number.
Someone else posts with some hay for sale.
Messer starts asking them questions.
All goes quiet.

A deal is a deal surely ?:banghead::banghead:

All that entertainment almost free! As you said you had nothing else to do.

Retired dog walkers. This week I have had to put up permissive footpath signs through a wood on behalf of our landlord's agents. They all know the wood is privately owned, but they treat it like their own. I put 6 arrow signs, and was questioned at least once each time. One person told me that they can't stop them walking through. And another rushed from his house to stand and watch me. I just had to be polite, even though I was fit to explode.

Let the landlord's agent put them up. They'll take more notice of them than you. :(

Tin-foil hat wearers with paranoid, nutcase phones that don't accept incoming calls. If you ring me and leave a message wanting me to get back to you, how do you expect me to do it?

MI-5, INTERPOL, CIA, FBI, THE MOSSAD, FSB, RSPCA AND THE BBC DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY PURCHASES.
What about the KGB?
