That's where the man in a van comes in .... Amazon Prime... all from the comfort of the chair.

Although I have said we will go to John Lewis for some pricey makeup she wants on the 2nd. 2nd being I think it might be quiet. I only need to be there to pay for it.

That was after the choice of a good pan set to go with the new kitchen or the makeup.

Shopping:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Today was 2nd. I had to go shopping.

Closest John Lewis was half a shop so had to venture into Liverpool... Going to a City shopping centre is for stupid people but today was my day.. I was to be brave.

Had a "moment" at the till when the I saw the price resulting in the drive back to the tunnel to escape was a bit more spirited than normal but I survived...

Then...

Came home to a Hefty Fed Ex Import charge I'd forgotten amount. This "moment" could last days.

Machine operators who turn up for a shift with a bad cold, then manage to pass it on to everyone else. I managed to avoid him until the last shift, but ended up stuck in a 5x4 basket for 10 hours with him (n)(n)

Some years back I was on a motorcycle journey and was catching a pick-up truck on a dual carriageway. I noticed that the items in the back were dancing around because not much effort had been made to strap them down.
All of a sudden a 205 litre blue plastic water barrel decided to leap out and bounce down the road. Luckily I'd not got too close and was able to take avoiding action.

I was in Naaarwich today going to the saw doctor and briefly followed a trailer carrying a number of builders items and on top was a wheel-barrow. Not a strap in sight and it would not have taken much of a bump in the road to put the wheel-barrow into airborne mode. I said to myself that if the driver stops I'd politely explain but he/she turned off before I did so I never managed to say anything.
Three minutes with a rope/strap would save someone from injury!

How come, however careful I am, a bit of it always seems to wrap around my face when I putting it in the bin?
