Take off the rear engine guard it said in the book, 5 bolts were fine, that one in the distance wouldn't come all the way out because the plastic diesel tank was in the way, no slot in the guard (then) either, had to saw the overlong bolt out with a loose hacksaw blade, undo the stub, cut down a new bolt so that it would go back in and cut a slot in the guard to get it back on.

It would have been easier to take the wheel off to give me more room but the bolt problem remains the same.

The the stupid picture of the hydraulic filter in the stupid instruction book didn't have a filter in it, the arrow just pointed to a random set of pipes which took some finding. The case on that filter (it has a cartridge) at arms legth behind 4 pipes at the max stretch of my arms upwards. Oil up to armpits and in face etc, no other way to do it.

I have been so cross today with what is otherwise a lovely machine.

I know one thing for certain, in my business life if ever I’ve had a complaint or a non payment of an invoice or in general any hassle of any sort, the customer has nearly always been a so called professional.
So, Pete, are you saying that most of your customers are "unprofessional" or "amateur" ? 😊
Wriggle out of that one ! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

B bloody T.in their wisdom they cut my mum of from phone and broadband a couple weeks back.i must have had well in excess of 7/8 hours on the phone since then trying to sort it all.first got a demand for £10.26 otherwise Bayliffs will be calling so I paid this myself after 2 hours on phone getting nowhere.bill is and allwAys has been paid by direct debit.then they wanted old equipment returned which I did.then they agreed they made a mistake and would reconnect her and send out new router etc.this got sent to Manchester despite living in Norfolk.it finally appeared today.phone got reconnected last tuesday and we got a differant number despite running 2 businesses on old number.complained again and despite getting passed round multiple departments they said it was a possibility we could get old number back but not a definite.anyway finally got old number back at last after more time on the phone and should have that by 11.59 Monday night.the whole debacle has driven me nuts and my mum expects everything done instantly or faster and that tests my patience too.anyway fingers crossed that’s the end of it all.

Today on a stretch of 2 lane A1(M) car and caravan (their speed limit is 60 mph) travelling at about 54.5 mph meaning that all the trucks which are happily trundling along in lane 1 at 55 to 56 mph have to overtake this inconsiderate driver taking two or three miles to execute the manoeuvre and thus effectively holding up 10 miles of traffic when all they needed to do was travel 3 to 5 mph faster and free up hundreds of other drivers…….rant over.

I feel your pain with BT....

Back in early June I contacted BT about a new broadband connection to the static caravan that my Fiance and I were moving into on her Dads farm in July.
Very nice chap from BT asked if I'd like full fibre (FTTP).
'Yes please', I replied. 'But this is in the sticks, so no chance'.
'Oh no sir, fibre is available at the end of the farm drive', he told me.

So, I ordered full fibre, with an installation date of 13th July. I had been off work the week before to get ready for moving, we moved on Saturday the 10th, so I took a couple of extra days off for the BT visit.
A couple of likely looking blokes got out of a van each, one looked at me and said 'sorry mate, we haven't bought a long enough roll of fibre. we will be back in a couple of days'. And off they went. They reckon this type of fibre can't be joined, what happens if a tree brings it down I don't know, but they were positive that it can't be joined, has to go end to end.

2 days later another couple of blokes turned up, examined the poles coming up from the road and said that they would need a cherry picker, as some of them now had hedge growing around them.
On the 3rd visit a week or so later it turned out that a pole on the road needs replacing as it's rotten.
4th visit, again, a few weeks later, the CBT ( fibre termination block) hadn't been fitted to the correct pole. So off they went again.

Here we are, at the end of October and we are still waiting for our fibre connection. Since July, BT have supplied us with a free data SIM, so I have that in my backup 4G router which is ok, not fibre type fast, but ok. They also reckon I will get compensation of £5.04 per day since the 13 July until it's finally connected. Which is nice.

I can see the new pole down the end of the drive, there does seem to be a termination block on it, but all I get now is calls from BT telling me they are waiting for authorization from the highways people to allow them to have traffic management so they can replace the pole. Which has already been replaced!

I did ask why they don't bother doing surveys for new installs. Turns out, they do............... via Google Earth and Street View!

Ah well, I currently have free broadband and if I get the £5.04 per day it should pay the bill, once (if) we ever get connected.

BT. Bloody Tossers.

I see that all the time on the motorway. A huge knot of traffic caused by one car doing 53mph so there are endless lorries passing it in lane 2, effectively making the motorway a single carriageway for all other traffic.

They have no idea why everyone else in annoyed with them, either. f**king idiots.

They ALWAYS get a blast on the horn from me - I have towed a caravan all over Europe and the UK and can count on the thumb of one hand the number of times I have been short of power to outpace trucks going uphill.

It annoys me that the electricity distribution company can never tell me when they are going to renew the line and poles. It’s been “imminent” for three years now and we have left stubbles late etc to help avoid making a mess etc but then they never actually turn up.
Now their tree trimming gang wants access and made a preliminary visit identifying overgrowth that needs cutting back. Of course they have no idea when they are going to turn up either which makes it awkward for me knowing when to move the various hare courser obstacles and leave a bit uncultivated to reduce the amount of mud trailed out onto my road. So what I did today was trimmed off all the overgrowth myself and burnt it. I reckon I had it done quicker than their preliminary visit and I didn’t need to close one lane of an A road and leave the village without power for the day for elf n safety as none of the growth was anywhere near the lines. Maybe if they leave some poles and wire I could renew the line as well while they are so busy on preliminary studies and risk assessments.
Nobody actually gets anything done nowadays.
