what grinds your gears

That sounds very unusual for Canadian hospitality, I was staying up in the interlake area.
Any host in my experience would be most offended if I hadn't at least doubled my weight before I left their house!
I remember going to a "small family barbecue " there was enough food laid out to feed all of Somerset, and still the host was worried that there was not enough!
As a sweeping generalisation, the Canadians are the most generous, hospitable, and warm hearted people I have ever met.
I second all that he said about Canadian hospitality . Generally speaking it has to be experienced to appreciate it fully .

It's the English ones that pee me off most. We've a local Double glazing firm that won't f**k off pestering. Next time there coming out for a full measure for all windows conservatory fascias as the lot... it'll keep an busy.
I had a chap out to measure for a new conservatory once. He wasn’t impressed to drive from Aberdeen to Caithness and find himself at a second floor flat. Apparently I was the one wasting his time.. 🤣

Having to go for lunch with family, when I’d rather stay at home on my own reading dirty magazines.

Bought a new pair of buckler muck boots a month ago and bill came today.putting them on this morning the tab on the back which assists getting them on,split away tearing the material on the top rear of the boot.bought them from a huge ag dealer in a local town so took them back to get replaced.was told this was not possible and had to be sent back to buckler.i suggested taking a pic and emailing but had to be sent back.i asked what I should do in mean time and told to buy another pair which I would not do.wont be paying for damaged ones either at this rate.im pretty pee'd of with this and told dealer I won’t pay bill till it’s all sorted.in my opinion it’s really poor service and I’d have thought the dealer would replace them and then get a refund from the manufacturer.i know the branch manager reads stuff on here so fingers crossed and not looking foreward to getting wet feet for next couple of weeks.very poor in my opinion for footwear listing at £83.33.and store an said they would probably hear nothing for at least a couple of weeks.

Up and down on the roads you tend to see the same vehicles with a headlight out.

Day in Day out... Week in Week out there they are with a light out.

Fix the f**king thing.... Then when you do Put the f**king bulb in properly so it's not bobbing up and down or lighting the sky.

I had similar with whynstay the sole of the boot split between the treads the sole was only paper-thin when they told me I would have to wait i said that's fine I will take my custom elsewhere till you sort it the then manager was quite high handed about it so I found alternative suppliers for my firt and agrichemicals so my account has gone from eighty grand a year to about four so f--ck them i must say I was surprised no one picked up on the loss of trade

Fudge me, if I was the manager I would have given you the boots for free and said sorry about that old pal. The margin on that chemical spend will have been significant!!
