what grinds your gears

Binned my inkjet after having the laser. Any good photos get printed by an online firm, the laser is ok for just showing a photo to someone in passing. The inks just go off all the time in the inkjets, just not worth the money and hassle imo.
Yes ' I think yer right about the inkjet binning thing . . TBH I'd never even considered the professional printer - on line or off , in fact , it had never entered my head , but it's certainly one to consider . When I bought the inkjet ( from Printerbase ) I did ask the salesperson if it would accept non genuine cartridges . Th answer was "well, why would you want to , genuine ones are cheap enough " To quote the evergreen Christine Keeler , Well he would say that , wouldn't he . ! Strange though , because Printerbase actually sell both genuine and non genuine cartridges .

Out for a family meal tonight with my siblings. We're farm grown kids. From a beef and sheep farm.

Little sister says she doesn't/hasn't eaten red meat for years as apparently "it's really bad for you in everyway"

While saying this she's tucking in to a big plate of processed chicken!

FFS! I attempted to explain how stupid this was......but it's a lost cause!

Stay offline, epson and Hp both gave expensive messages. Hp using non approved ink so no go, epson, printer needs cleaned at approved dealer.
Offllne no problems.

My wife had some printed on line this week, turned up the next day just like the old days of prints coming through the post, we will be doing it again, it saves wasting bits of an A4 photo paper when you can't be bothered to fiddle about and re-size photos etc.

I had an Epson a bit back , and very good it was too . BUT it was an absolute PITA with it's nag screens about non Epson cartridges , and eventually it stopped working . That was why , as I said above , that I vowed I would never have another ink jet unless it was a Brother that just takes what you give it and quietly gets on with the job. I'm told that you can take a memory card or memory stick to just about any supermarket and within minutes , have the lot printed or any of your choice , virtually DIY as far as I can see . Never tried it though , but I might do next . Many thanks to all who have replied - it looks like I'm not alone with my printing troubles . I've often heard said "if it has tyres or tits , it'll cause you grief at some time during it's life " perhaps " printers" needs to be added to that !

Leaving a window open and the light on....flocks of moths (the collective noun is apparently a whisper) but these are shouting, bashing into things...and joined by hords of daddy longlegs, fumbling their way round the room, dropping the odd leg...

Dad has one field with around 40 houses backed onto it. Some see fit to pile up everything over the fence.:banghead:

They didn't like it when I repatriated it with the forklift and dung grab though
