I have a selection from car boot sales. Just change them once the water seeps through. Hose them down once they can stand up on their own
I like having spares . It's underrated compared to having one WonderCoatTo some degree they all fail during rain. I have tried most and I ended up with 2 spares in the truck and 1 on my back. The problem with breathable fabric is once it gets dirt in its pores it does not work. There are products like tek-wash that will revive it and last until you get more dirt in the pores. I probably would not recommend a ultra light weight rain jacket on a farm. At a funeral yes. On my farm it would not last a week.
Lots of pockets big and small are nice and double taped seams. But other than that they are pretty much the same when it comes to actual performance. At least that is my experience.
Same with tractors!I like having spares . It's underrated compared to having one WonderCoat
not me ....Your a lot younger than thought
Same with anything you use a lot of the time.Same with tractors!
That's me 150 quid lighter thanksProbably looking at something like a swanndri, specifically the mosgiel zip up one. A few problems to note though: it will get heavier when wet so you might need two (one for a change), you will get damp as it is wool and relatively long so might pick up moisture fRon the crop you're working in.
bonuses: quiet, it does breathe, hood is a good shape and not noisy, you'll probably never have to wash it, you can walk through a hedge backwards without tearing it, zip from the top or from the bottom to leat air in.
Now they're made in China they're not as good as they once were.
