Just that talking about good cholesterol strongly suggests that there is such a thing as bad cholesterol. Cholesterol is an essential compound for health, our nerves wouldn't work without it. The whole demonisation of cholesterol is a con and so how can one "type" be "good"....Sorry @holwellcourtfarm should it be 100% meat? You seem angry?
I think we are worried about cholesterol, because they developed a simple cheap test for cholesterol levels!Just that talking about good cholesterol strongly suggests that there is such a thing as bad cholesterol. was listening to Radio 4 while topping yesterday, a market gardener phoned in and said, food costs between 1 and 2 days work a month, so the cost of food is still at a historically low level, but this suits everyone (except farmers) as it allows everyone else to sell all the other things people spend their money on. I read Farmageddon a few years ago, and if I remember correctly there were a lot of good valid arguments why we should eat more expensive meat, and not meat that is produced using methods that are unacceptable, partly why I try to buy meat with a better provenance (Christmas Turkey from a farm in Peniel). I think we should eat more meat (that ideally is produced with regenerative grazing, pasture fed) and certainly less Carbs and Ultra Processed Food.'We need to eat less, but better, and more expensive, meat'
Without providing any substantive arguments for what is better, or why we need to eat less, or why the poor can go screw themselves.
Just another chattering classes foodie trying to identify the next band wagon to jump on.
News papers are old hat, full of rumours made up stories and fiction,
Only people that read them are using it as an escape from their own sad lives,
In orderto try and find people worse off than themselves.
That covers about 60% of the unhappy population of the UK,
