Took the 2030 down the road the other day an I thought the ride was a bit rough closer inspection I found this pictured below but God knows how it happend ?
It's not long had new tyres fitted wether the tyre fitter got enough leverage to do this ?
Any1 know if it could be repaired ?

Seems like it, but there is a scar on the tyre in line with the rim damage, so points to getting caught up in something, bit of rebar sticking out of some hardcore in a gateway for example.Mind you, I doubt that that damage would affect the ride though.

It affected the balance of the wheel hence the bumpy ride ,
I would of though if I had hit something that would do that much damage it would of damaged the tyre first , and yes they have tubes in .

if that is front tyre it should be possible to repair.
you will have to have it off and a bit of gas to warm it and it should go back in place.
if a back wheel I think it is a new rim I am afraid .
looking at it does seem something you drove over. Insurance issue possibly?

If possible bash it out cold. I'm not a fan of heating wheel rims, it's too easy to alter the temper of the steel.
It could be worth making up a big drift with a handle for someone else to hold so that your sledgehammer blows hit exactly the right place.

If that was done whilst driving I would guess you would have felt it plus there does not appear to be damage on the tyre bead. I with a long handled tyre lever and a large fitter.

There is a mark on the tyre wall. And if a tyre fitter had done it, it would have been hammered back!

Cannot see effecting the ride tho ? as damage goes inn the diameter of the tyre will be the same
Unless something on machine behind or tractor is catching that would explain both but if that was case am shure it wouldn't just be at one place on the rim
Just beat it out with tyre on if it splits tyre of and welder out
Could you not take it to the guy who fitted the tyres
