When’s it too dear.

There is a 05 tsa135 with just over 4000 hours for sale at 32750. Would You say that is too dear for the year or is it worth that because it’s a simpler but very useable model. The same money might bring you up 5-7 years and a more modern machine but possibly more reliability issues. At what point is paying more for older kit worth it.

That seems too much, should be more like 25 for a really nice example or is this where we are now with machinery inflation o_O? Good tractors though, great engine in a compact package

If ur lookin less crap, more simple stuf the tsa 135 isnt the tractor to go for as it has electrical engine management so either go for a tsa 115 or an older tractor

Yes but at what point would it be better to put that money into a newer tractor to come up the years
Never just for the vanity of a newer number plate and functions/complications you will never use or need but still cause breakdowns. My mechanic always says the newer the machine the bigger the bills and looking in his workshop I believe him

TSA115 won’t match a 135 For output. Ok if you only need 115 output I admit but if you need more it be no good.

As for Leccy systems on tractors of that age, there pretty reliable and any issues are well known about and easy sorted.

we have a selection of tractors, loaders SP sprayer and combine ranging from 1984-2017 without exception we need to use spanners on them far more than a laptop. will admit though the laptop does make the use of the spanners more efficient on the newer stuff as tractor can tell us what’s wrong!
