When to put the ram in?

Hello, I have got the option to put a ram in now to the 14th of November or at beginning of December after someone else has used it what's the best thing to do? I only hav 9 sheep so . Thanks in advance!!

When do you want lambs to arrive?

If you're lambing outside, or don't want to feed much, lamb them later rather than earlier.

I was more wondering if 4 weeks id enough to cover them all? When the lambs come isn't realy an issue for me!

ewes cycle in about 17 days, so technically, everything could be over in 3 weeks.

Exactly this... also I wouldn’t want to be on stand by for anything lambing any longer than 40 days. For the sake of 9 sheep, would it be worth synchronising them so lambing time isn’t so protracted?

If lambing inside, and won't be short of feed in March I'd go now

Stick him in now with a raddle on to see what he has and then have him back in December with a different colour to see if there are any returns.
