Where to sell

Having taken on more work for next year we are looking to replace our Claydon hybrid M3 with a 6 metre tine drill, trying to part ex at the moment is shocking, almost offering half what dealers are knocking out the same thing for. Also seems having crates of spares and the zero till kit on top is worthless 🙄
what success have people had with selling privately? Very difficult market at the moment with few buyers and grants around.
can’t take the hit but need to get the 6m to fulfill the extra work 🤯
Any advice on recommends classifieds or ones to avoid?
cheers

That's the grants for you... buyer can get a second hand one at 1/2 price or buy a new for the same outlay... Realistically second hand it is probably not worth much more than 30% of a new one, at least not to anyone who is switched on to the grant scheme.

I wonder if there was a grant on this drill though? If so the loss isn't as big a cost to the business unless a perportion has to be paid back

Ollyblogs was on about a selling app the other day, 9 mins 30 onwards, said he was going to try it. Theres a link below the vid. Know nothing about it myself, but may be worth a look.
