Which additive?

I have some first year grass/some clover ley on extremely dry land. The plan was to turn some young stock on to graze it but i feel there is too much there, so i have decided to cut it for silage. Whats the best additive to use?

livestock and electric fencing.

Silage made in November even with additive has a high chance of being wet nasty shite.
As above , graze it off
