No still in situ down the yard. Might get round to it if we get a wet day.

Amazing what little horse power it took to drive a self propelled beet harvester years ago, what are they now HP wise?

Sorry was sold last year, If I remember right it went to N Yorkshire

have found a chap up York way breaking a couple that they used to work but thanks anyway I’ve no doubt that if there’s a part that’s already gone il be in touch

One of my first jobs as an apprentice, workshop manager showed me a new Solobeet and a brand new 135 and said get on with it. Took me a while, but got there with a little help. Felt proud driving it around the yard for the first time.
Dad drove one on the farm he worked on, and I was always amazed where it would go, ruts up to your knees, but it kept plugging on,

It would be great to keep it as it is,plenty of showroom condition 135's about, there would be great interest in a complete machine tidied up, and no massive search for parts.

Quite agree, those cyclones will soon be all gone.... I've spent many hours on one of those with a Ford 3000 unit.
