on thing is sprayer with the crimped hose clamps on them tent to cut them off and put on a screw up hose clamp
at least if it leaks you can tighten it up were if a crimp it's a job over head home to fix

Im due for a mew sprayer
Anyone used solo so425/ p ??

Extremely popular sprayers with the grounds care industry as reliable but for the money if it’s going to be used a lot I’d be looking at something with a more comfortable harness and straps like the Berthoud knapsacks.

My current one has adj length lance but not many others seem to now

I think one of the only ones it comes on as standard is the Berthoud Pro but you’re looking £160 ish for one of them. They can be bought separately though and retrofitted, either that or just swap your old one over if there’s nothing wrong with it. Extremely handy feature, pity they don’t all come with it.

Anyone recomend the best replacement lance for a knapsack sprayer?

Got enduromax and got cdax. Enduro max seem to do a year or so. Quite liked the cdax but only bought it last year, used it a few times, pulled it out this year and it’s got a pin hole through the seam on the gun so want something reliable and long lasting. Any recommendations?

I just googled you, plenty of choice, which is best for no leaks and longevity?
Brass?, stainless?, which would you say is the best one for a 12v pressured bike sprayer? Will a pressure washer lance work? I’m just fed up with plastic breaking, splitting or snapping..

spoke to some guys working for the NT who were using a Starex knapsack sprayer, they liked it. Anyone heard of this make, think I have the right name, and anyone used one? Cheers

Stick knapsack sprayer into Amazon’s search engine and see what comes up. Many of them are the same or nearly the same, no matter what brand is on them. They probably all come from the same couple of Chinese factories, or the main components do. The important part is the harness. Make sure the harness suits you and is comfortable.
