Most modern games are by download, very few come as an actual CD now.I’ll be following this thread. My son wants exactly the same thing.
I phoned “my cheap laptop” today after seeing them get recommended on another thread on here recently but they don’t have anything with a good enough graphics card to run FS19.
Also, a lot of these so called gaming laptops don’t have a cd drive so how do you play games??

Sorry I’m a bit thick on these things. When you buy the game it comes on a CD, how do you play it without using the CD?? [emoji848]
You can still get most games in cd form which obviously requires a cd drive, most pc games will now be bought online as a download, this is also the case for Xbox and Playstation consoles now as well, just download the game over the internet, saves loosing, scratching or breaking cd's.Sorry I’m a bit thick on these things. I dont think you will get a laptop suitable for gaming for £500, unless 2nd hand. Gaming laptops are quite expensive and soon out of date, issue with laptops and gaming is lack of heat dispersal so they get hot quickly affecting the performance of the machine. You would get a much better deal with a normal PC I would think though obviously less portable. My nephew is wanting a laptop for xmas/birthday to run FS19 and do his schoolwork on.

I've got a Lenovo Z50-75 and runs FS17fine (apart from being slightly cluncky) and it cost me £300
