Who to approach re wind farm

Quite a way down the solar route, but would mean loosing ninety percent of the farm to it. Battery storage seems a non starter due to infrastructure, so was thinking about a wind farm given the new Labour government seems to have given on shore turbines the green light.
The obvious person to ask is the agent we are using at the moment for the solar. I can’t help but think his response is going to be prejudiced by the solar. If I was him I would want the solar to happen rather than to have to start all over again. His fee is a percentage of the first years income.
Wind would hopefully give me a similar income to the solar but take up a much reduced area so allowing me to be a hobby farmer in my retirement. I’m fifty seven.
Do I speak to another agent or developers? If so who would you recommend?

Hi

We are looking for new wind sites but grid connection is a limiting factor now, I would be happy to discuss if you want to call me anytime you are free thanks William 07464729759

Would you lease the site or develop yourself? Be very wary of wind turbine maintenance costs. We have solar and wind, and whilst our Gaia has been mainly sound, servicing and faulty parts on bigger turbines can cost a fortune and has been the undoing of many firms in the wind sector. Solar much less of an issue to maintain in our case, although some inverter issues (ABB) but covered by warranty.

My experience with wind farm developers' is that they treat you like a king (until you sign on the option agreement), then like something you get stuck on the sole of your shoe. If I could quote two proverbs to remember, then hopefully you won't go too far wrong.

*If you sup with the Devil make sure you have a long spoon.
*If you lay down with dogs, expect to get up with fleas.

I feel like a red indian, who sold North America for a handful of glass beads. I could write more, but don't want to be bitter and twisted.

Hi If you have grid connection we would look at planning for wind for you, we have partnered with a Dutch turbine company and are actively looking for sites for new turbines. Would you like to call me thanks William 07464729759
