Did you eat too much cheese before bed?
Sorry, won't happen again..

Unfortunately, I fear you may be right. Contrary to what a few vocal posters on here might say, I don't think there's any great majority on Brexit either way, other than everyone is sick of the shenanigans. The majority of labour voters would never vote for a Conservative, whether the wanted to leave or not, and Jezza has been careful to sit on the fence so as not to upset those too much. Lib Dems will mop up a lot of 'Remain' voters from both parties, making them Kingmakers.

Personally, I don't know for the first time in my life. I despise the way that Boris goes about things, and have no faith in his diplomatic skills, which a PM absolutely must have. The alternatives however, are possibly even worse. I'll probably vote for @Bald Rick
He looks a bit young...

I think if it turns out to be a cold and wet December day :)singing: as we touched the ground at JFK :singing::joyful::joyful:) hardly any bugger will bother to vote, certainly less than half the electorate, so it will all be a waste of time.

As we’ve all found in the last few weeks, Mother Nature holds the cards at many a game.

It’s amazing how quickly an uprising can be quelled just by the weather. Years ago there were tremendous riots in Coventry for three nights running, proper nasty stuff, cars burnt, shops wrecked, police officers beaten, riot vans wrecked, the full works.
I watched the lunchtime news and all the vermin were on there shouting how that night was going to be the worst yet.

It rained. Nobody turned up.

I think both Borris and Labour may have miscalculated calling this election, the most likely scenario in my opinion is that they will both loose seats and we will remain stuck on this dam hamster wheel for years.

As always it is not who I am voting for but who and what I am voting against... I voted remain but I would far rather a conservative government and us leave with the Borris agreement than do anything that would facilitate the monster raving Labour party getting in. I think I am in a fairly secure conservative seat but nothing is certain in this election, traditional voting allegiances are thrown out the window
