why are people so stupid

Early today driving down a single track country lane, saw a tractor and trailer coming towards me maybe 1/4 mile or less away.
Spotted a gateway and pulled in , rather naively expecting the car that was right on my arse to do same.
Nope woman just charged past and then 100m further on she woke up.
Tractor then had to edge on to narrow verge whilst she attempted to get out of way.
Is this lack of observation,
Saw it but couldn't care less,
Lack of intellect
Lack of common sense.
All of above.
As a tractor I appreciate those when required that move out of my way, that said anyone who unecessarily get in my way will get told in crystal clear terms where they can go...
If my front end loader is over the car bonnet that means I'm the driver that's NOT reversing... 😉

Personally I would make every one who wishes to drive a car ride a motorcycle or powered scooter for a year beforehand

Nothing like knowing a mistake might result in your death for sharpening observation skills
It's noticeable the difference between cyclists who assume all will move out of the way and get annoyed if you dare overtake and motorcyclists who assume everything and everything is out to assassinate them!

I've no issue with motorbikers- I tend to let them pass as you are never going to be held up by one of them.

Cyclists seem to think they own the road.

Push bikes = piles and chaffing where there should be none.

Having said that , I wouldn’t get my leg over a bike these days

I can't stand folk who troll along at 43mph everywhere. Especially those people in campervans.

And I hope there is a special place in hell for people who cannot overtake other vehicles. This tractor in front, ahhhh, I know, I'll hang on his arsh for the next 5 miles. Neatly increasing the size of the overtake required by the poor folk behind.
Yep the kind of folks who do a constant 43 even in a 30 zone...... boils my pee when I leave em for dust on unrestricted roads only for em to be right up my arse again in a 30!!! W a n k e r s :ROFLMAO:

Been up in the Yorkshire Dales today, push bikes everywhere, some the driving skill on show were frankly awful, overtakes before blind summits, zero awareness of what’s further up the road.

Had 6motorbikes attempt an overtake while on the tractor the other day.the first 4 got past and immediately turned left at a junction a few yards in front of me.

I say 4 turned left the 3rd and 4th only made it as I was hard on the brakes, if I hadn’t done there would have been broken motorbikes, broken bones, and tomato sauce everywhere followed a short while later by the air ambulancE.

the 5th and 6th bikes realised I was too far past the junction for them to make it (I was continuing straight on not turning on or off a road and doing nothing wrong) so got level with me and had to then stop at wrong side of the road.

motorbikers as a rule I find to be switched on and onow what there doing. This lot however musta escaped from the local nut house

Really I would say they are the worst for road skills, shortly followed by horse riders

1 of the things that pi55es me off is with being higher up in tractor can often see a vehicle coming on the narrow roads before they see me, so I pull onto verge as I know where soft bits or ditches are only for said vehicle to eventually see me then proceeded to either freeze and try to reverse to the gate they have just passed or to put 6mm of their tyres onto verge and expect me to squeeze past them after I'm all ready bloody stopped with enough room for them to get past 🙄
