600kgs bags flit on trucks better ?
This,

48 x 0.6t = 28.8t.

for modestly attired wagons, this allows them to run at 44t gross with a full trailer, unless it’s a full on double drive v8 fannywaggon, then knock a couple bags off the payload to allow for the weight of the cab.

1t bags you’ll get either 24 or 26 on the floor depending on style. not meant to double stack.

0.5t bags of fert I think it was 27.5t you could get on a std curtainsider. No one uses 0.5t bags for fert anymore though.

Why on earth do the vast majority of famers have half tonne bags of seed and 600kg. They are the biggest PITA know to man IMO.

Convince me why you need half tonnes if you have more than 100 acres.
Why does it matter what the rest of us choose to use? Are you the one filling them up??
I can't reach over the drill hopper with ton bags. 1/2 t bags easier and safer here.

Would prefer 50kg bags for seed ,lot safer than swinging a half ton bag filling 4m wide box drill hopper
do you have tele and a bag lifter 🤷🏻‍♂️
loader 90 degrees to drill , a mortar board like bit what sits on top of drill box , only undo bottom half way so grain stops flowing on your board , jump back in loader lift up a bit so starts running and boom out to run it across drill , jump back out when bag empty and has blown off and half mile away or on top of cab
then get your yellow 3 gallon bucket to give it final level out , and remember to put less at level sensor end so know you won’t run out 🤫
be better this year with new to us air drill

Because they work very nicely with our system.

I may as well ask who on earth has bigger than a 500kg bag of seed or 600kg bag of fert, surely they are just a PITA? Because they would be for me.

Not everyone has your kit or your area. And while it is well worth considering optimal sizes of purchased units of seed and fertilizer for your business, it’s a bit presumptuous to assume nobody else has also thought about it.
