Wild Harvest, A 1947 Film

I've always had a memory of seeing on TV, a black and white American feature film when I was boy in the 1950s, about a custom combining outfit that moved from the south to the north of the USA harvesting grain. It starred Alan Ladd and was just like a cowboy film, complete with a chuck wagon, but with Massey Harris 21 combines instead of cattle.

The 2 main characters fell out over a woman, got into financial difficulties and started stealing some of the farmer's grain. They were eventually run out of town and only escaped by pushing off a combine, from the rear most truck of their convoy, to block the road.

Google filled in the details for me, I'd like to see it again.
