I was watching the bees on the cow parsley and then saw this creature! Trichius fasciatus known of course as the "bee beetle". Not uncommon but a delight to see such a strange creature. Even it's little head is very bee-like, right down to the hairs. We were loving the little hands when we zoomed in, just the job for hanging onto a flower

Never seen one of them before.

I think I was told 'star slime' or something similar which sounded a bit more cool!!!

Got a feeling that is the same with a different variation of names, but not sure, someone will correct me ,Because every day is a learning day.
put your picture into Google search and see what answers you come up with.

Spiders'webs are meant to be a sign of fine weather, aren't they? Long strands of web are how spiders get around.....I think? Wet and nasty up here.
