Not really, but I know what you mean. Trailed forager development never kept up with today’s market as the perfect machine would be too expensive and alternatives like decent used S/P’s, bakers and loader wagons have all made off with that market.
Has the trailed market pretty much maxed out its capacity though? Its generally accepted that any SP much over 650hp is as much as is needed in grass, but yet 1000 Hp + machines are available for work in maize/energy crops.
The largest trailed machines are hitched up to 400hp tractors and lifting 100 acres of grass per day.
These machines are not cheap and apart from utilising power that otherwise may be idle I see less and less reason to buy one over a now small 450hp SP.
