Will this winter ever end?!

Forget the short memory... For this area, we have had almost 9months worth of rain since December 1st (using official SEPA figures)
Anyone with a short memory generally forget pretty easily :)

Yes it's very wet, we had 9 inches in Feb.

We got ploughing in Jan this year, in 2018 I had just started ploughing at the end of February due to is being too wet to get moving with a plough, that year we didn't get sowing until the end of April and even then it was dodgy in parts, yet by the end of May many were crying about it not raining.

I'm not bothered about the weather at the moment.

@Northeastfarmer just had a load of straw this morning the driver got out the wagon and realised he should have fetched 2 coats instead of 1’ couldn’t live up here’ he said
It will sharp dry up in the second half of March especially where you are 2 months later it might here

just had a nice sharp hailstone storm to add to the previous snow/rain/hailstorm downpour around 6-7 this morning. I am planting and tubing 4000 hedge plants - not nice. God only know what our animals are going to eat cos if the boss thinks the stock is going out in good grass in April it'll better grow pretty quick. On the hunt for vast amounts of local sileage.
