I know Covid is reported to be more contagious than the flu, but in my 47 years I’ve only ever had flu once. Very rarely even get a cold, maybe I’m lucky in my isolated lifestyle?

I am a bit older than you. I can only recall two incidents when I think it was flu.

First when I was 23 and living alone in a farm cottage. I spent best part of two days in bed and is the only time in my life I genuinely cannot remember those 48 hours The fever was intense and when I came round the bed was soaked wet. And it took days for me to regain strength to walk.

Second twenty years ago when I spent a couple of days in bed but it was nowhere as bad as the previous time.

Other than that I have had colds and bronchial illness with lots of plegm and possibly viruses.

But only on those two occassions was it what I would call awful flu. I wonder if a lot of flu reported every year is really flu.

I have still never had a flu jab. Thought about it last autumn but concluded there would be little flu last winter and more chance of catching flu going near the medical system to get a flu jab. My main objective has been to keep clear of anyone involved in the medical world - Covid is a disease of the healthcare system.

I was talking to my Son and he shares a house with six others and he was talking about their bubble and it got me thinking. Forget masks everyone can have their own personal plastic bubble and no one need ever come into contact with any other potentially infectious human ever. Obviously with no social contact birthrates will decline but it wouldn’t matter as no one would ever die again (well unless your bubble was punctured) . I am offering this idea to Boris Johnson for free but i do expect a Nobel prize or the like.

I was 21 when I caught what I think was the flu, could hardly get out of bed for 5 days. I had a very bad cough with it and whether you believe it or not I’ve not had a cough since!

Never had any trouble with my chest despite all the farm dust and moulds.

guess I’m lucky.

What about the rest of the school. And what as been the 'official' response to his breaking rank from conformity?

Apparently the only others without masks are the "disabled". So that'll be the fake-disabled, little-sh1!s-claiming-they-have-adhd ones. So far, noone else. There is no official response. I always play my strong hand first. Easter hols in a week anyway. So 13 days at school in six months. Well played, teaching unions, well played.

Yes, is clearly essential to have a holiday at this point!

Try offering it to Macron. You won`t get any praise because it sounds quasi-effective.

He held firm....however his teacher told him it was compulsory so he put it on (it isn't). There followed a discussion with the headmaster. He won't be wearing it tomorrow.

He may change his mind once the point has been proved. I'm fine either way.
we had a similar situation here, school changed there policy when I pointed out they were wrong.

Has anyone considered babies? How they learn to feel by looking at adult faces looking at them. You ever looked into the eyes of a baby and smiled and seen the reaction? I hate masks. It's a satanist concept and should be reviled.

Absolutely! it's pure evil!
the popularity of mandatory masking casts a hideous unflattering light on those who love it so much.

You sound like a Druid. Oh well the summer solstice will soon be upon us and then off to Stonehenge for a bit of worship. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
