Winter breath spreading covid....

Been hedging today and the hundreds of people out walking, jogging and cycling is total madness.
While waiting for the masses to pass I can see how it spreads. People are expelling vapor like steam trains now its cold, anyone passing or following at any distance is going to catch it if someone has the virus. The nearest town they are saying 1 in 20 has it.
I also watched a group chatting and could see all 4 of there breaths mixing.
I bet that's why its out of control as opposed to the warmer months....
Im just surprised no one has picked up on this?

It's been the one weakness, outdoors anything goes apparently.

So many people using the excuse of their daily exercise to spend large amounts of time out of the house. See lots of different family groups meet up and go for a mass walk, twenty in s group at times, all standing close together. And at every pinchpoint, bottleneck, gate, junction when they meet another group, social distancing is impossible.
It's difficult to take this lockdown seriously, all the economic and social damage without the full benefit a genuine lockdown would bring.

I personally would have no lockdown and all over 70s and vulnerable shield until vaccinated.
It's not fair to harm a 6 year olds life chances so a 95 year old gets a year or two more.

It would be rampant in the young and then would spread to the older generations if this route was followed.

Forget 6 year or 95 year olds, this is about keeping hospitals functioning.

It‘s pretty well to do anything to change the outcome now.

Got to ask where a lot of the people who are catching it are getting it from. Schools are mainly off now so where are people catching it?
I think 2m isn't enough even outside the way I've seen breath going a lot further. Maybe 2m was adequate in the summer but not now it's cold.

Listening to “Lawro” on footy yesterday he made the most sensible comment stating football should stop given the gravity of what’s going on. Football isn’t essential the last time I looked. I know they play behind closed doors but it’s not in the spirit of things. A bit like Cheltenham races wanting to go ahead with limited or no spectators. This is nonsense when the entertainment and hospitality trade had been decimated these last 10 months.

Spoke on the phone last night to my daughter who is a primary teacher and she said classes are a lot fuller than 1st lockdown.
A lot more "key" workers under the definition and now only one parent needs to be a key worker instead of two to qualify.
