I made some for a twose years ago from a block that holds the herras fencing up , drilled hole for grease , not sure wot they made of or if they will wear the shaft but going well still

Think it was one of these

I’ve made them from railway sleeper, just get a hole saw for the drill drill down as far as you can chisel out the centre and go again, only takes two 3x to get through a sleeper.

Ah yes. I had wondered about doing that last time... but bought more wooden blocks.

I do miss not having RS components a few miles up the road🥴
Am sure they'd pop some over to you, I get my bearings locally but when I have dealt with RS they have been excellent and very speedy
