Would a Fransgard TI6000 fit on a trailer?

It's probably a long shot, but does anyone happen to have a TI6000 floating around that they could measure for me?

I'm dealing with an idiot salesman who's not interested in putting the machine in transport position, taking the tine arms out, folding up the guards and measuring the overall dimensions, despite the fact that I'm prepared to buy it sight unseen. He insists that it can't be lifted at all, and it would need to be driven on to a flatbed truck (lorry?) or towed home with a tractor......I'm pretty confident it would fit quite easily on a tandem trailer and could be lifted with a forklift but I'm not prepared to hand over the money, turn up with a hired trailer and find it won't fit.

Anyone got any real world experience with these? I was under the impression that they'll fold up and disassemble to be reasonably compact......afterall, it's just a glorified haybob, not exactly a full blown trailed rotary rake.

Yes it will fit. As you say with time arms out and guard rails removed.
Does he actually want to sell it? It's he even a salesman?

The machine itself, or the likelihood of it fitting on a trailer? Like I said, sight unseen so I can't really answer either of those. It's pretty much new and tidy enough, overpriced for what it is but, well, you know what prices are like these days, not to mention new ones have been arriving into the country "next month" for the last year or so.

Does he actually want to sell it? It's he even a salesman?
:ROFLMAO: They don't call him Sales Manager for nothing. Certainly makes you wonder though.....

I have loaded a Ti 6000 into a 14' ifor Williams with the dropsides on.
(I got them onto smaller trailers too with some overhang)

Swing the headstock into transport position and some tine bars have to be removed.

Bring a few blocks to chock the wheels and plenty of straps.

They are a great little machine.

Check the cam box on LHS in case someone changed direction of rotation, and didn't change cam followers.

Not a big deal if the cam is broken, (these parts are fairly cheap from Fransgard) but get a discount to cover cambox, followers, etc.

All the best with it.
