It's a legacy deal for some of the original Type S cars - has been going for maybe ten years already and will last as long as the cars do. Trivial cost in the grand scheme of things and notably can be transferred to the new owner in some cases so is holding up resale values of a subset quite nicely.

Is there any free supermarket leccy? My client has free charging at some sites, so I could use that if I had an EV, and of course ScotGov has it at many places up here. Clive was referring to the Tesla scheme though, hence my reply.
