Isn't there something else you can use in the baler instead of net? That would be the best solution for a weatherproof bale.
Same we do it as a last resort but always make sure baler knifes are in it keeps better and atleast it falls apart if you bed with itAlways seemed to end up sweaty and rank when I wrapped it....so I packed in
What about using Kuhn baler/wrapper think they can put wrap on instead of net and leave ends open
MouldyA neigbour tried just that with both hay and straw. The effect was that condensation under the wrap caused moulding, so it wasn't a success. Both would have been better with just the traditional net and allowed to breathe, or with a complete wrap.
How do you get an English spell check, instead of this US English rubbish? How do you spell moldy? Or is it mouldy?
That condensation was most likely excess moisture in the bale working it’s way out till it hit the plasticMouldy
I was just explaining to the previous post how to spell 'moùldy' ...however it seems that if the straw is very dry then wrapping them will be ok . ...I will know by about end of Oct !!That condensation was most likely excess moisture in the bale working it’s way out till it hit the plastic
