Wrapping straw

Used to do it years ago before we had a shed for straw, gave it a proper 4 ply wrap & stacked it flat side down in a pile about 4 high.

Got the odd bale with a bit of dampness but mostly fine, we were rolling them out by hand then & they were way better to work with than ones stored outside with nothing, they were pure torture to get started.

What about using Kuhn baler/wrapper think they can put wrap on instead of net and leave ends open

A neigbour tried just that with both hay and straw. The effect was that condensation under the wrap caused moulding, so it wasn't a success. Both would have been better with just the traditional net and allowed to breathe, or with a complete wrap.

How do you get an English spell check, instead of this US English rubbish? How do you spell moldy? Or is it mouldy?
