Is it worth it?

Does it increase daily live weight gain?, and if so how much by?

I assume theory being rumen is a happier place with it being added in the ration so cattle perform better?

Look at it simply.
Yeast aids the Rumen Bacteria, and by reducing Methane production means animals are not wasting the energy that is Belched. That energy should then be converted into growth. Methane has an energy value of 50>55 Kj/Kg.
Enough not to be wasted in venting to atmosphere (from either end).

IIRC grain fattening greatly increases Methane production.

I thought feeding starch reduced methane and that fibre increased it?

I’ve used levucell in beef rations before and haven’t noticed much difference
I think it does work though the ones which we fed it to shone up their coats which would indicate that the performance was better on the same feed
