HI all. Thoughts are turning to this autumns calf rearing arrangement start calving 7th sept.
Using yogurt for rearing beef calves has come up in topic again. So looking for some do's n don'ts n dont bleedy bother comments please.
We will at maximum have eighty beef calves that could be feed with yogurt at 4 liters a feed = 320 liters per feed.
So from my limited research would if be feasible (once batch has started) to mix ibc with plasters whisk on drill then feed out, then top with milk then repeat.
Also what milk should be used i'm think of colostrum from cows 2nd milking until they can go in tank (dump the couple resolved IR'S and an johnes cows.) Any comments welcome
