Brilliant sunshine today but cold cold cold! Good to the the sheep standing around dozing and cudding after the wild weather of a few days ago. Supposed to get a heavy snow tomorrow sometime, and then partly cloudy and below freezing for the next few days hoooray!! the mud will finally freeze.

Small snow. Took a photo for my child's Australian penfriend who has never seen snow - coldest it has ever been in Perth, Australia, was -0.7 degrees! I will again ask Mrs Static why we didnt move there 2 years ago.

-8 or 9 for here (Midlands Ireland) tonight.
Another beautiful day, frosty but lovely. Keep em coming
Same here, -1.6 at 6:30 this morning and hit a balmy 3 degrees by 2pm ish. It's back freezing mad now and the met are giving it down to -8 tonight. Sunshine all day and healthy out. The whinging from some folk about the cold is a right pain in the proverbial. Anything is better then rain all the time.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
