Yellow warning for rain for us later. Does seem to dry quite quickly though, even more so with the wind.
It is still remarkably dry for the time of year/considering we are just about out of what was meant to be 'winter'. I feel we may have winter round 2 before March is out. Could be wrong, but I would much rather have it now than harvest.
A fairly reasonable winter is starting to veer towards a soggy Spring here lately, despite the few record-breaking days of warmth. So much rain on the forecast.
On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.
