A bit draughty here, with all the trees waving around like daisies.
Doesn’t stop our chucks from roosting in their apple tree though (feckin eejits, they have a comfortable coop not 10 yards away:facepalm:):

Yellow warning for rain for us later. Does seem to dry quite quickly though, even more so with the wind.

It is still remarkably dry for the time of year/considering we are just about out of what was meant to be 'winter'. I feel we may have winter round 2 before March is out. Could be wrong, but I would much rather have it now than harvest.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
