Zeus disc brake conversion ( land rover S2a )

Location

Hi guys
A few months ago I decided to fit a Zeus front disc brake conversion kit on my land rover series 2a as I was fed up with fitting unreliable aftermarket and quality parts and as I was really impressed with them I have now decided to fit a Zeus rear disc brake conversion kit which I have just ordered so when the kit arrives I will post pic's :p

Pretty sure the track width between series and defender is different too, which is why defenders have plastic arches, with the wheel being pretty much to the edge of them, and series don’t.

I’m maybe old fashioned but I always thought series land rover brakes when set correct we’re good especially when you have servo assistance. I’m not sure will any benefit be had with discs on the rear, up here in the north of Scotland we have that much road salt disc brakes on the rear give the most problems with rusty discs and siezed callipers due to them not doing as much work

They probably was back in the day but since the 70's there has been a lot of aftermarket firms springing up that don't make parts as good as good make companies, a lot of good make companies over the years are either not around anymore or have been taken over by other companies and again don't make as good a product they used to :)
