Can report that new makita 5ah battery charges in dock supplied with grinder, and new battery needed bit of black plastic trimmed back slightly to allow it to slide fully home into grinder dock.
Seems to be working fine so far.

Long story, just trying them. On today's performance I'm not convinced, Milwaukee is still number 1 in my eyes

What do you think of the One Key stuff? I like the idea of using the one key as a tracker and they also launching a thing called a Tick which is a tracker you can fit to any tool or item etc and by down loading the one key app you can track it. okay you have to be in range but that's not so bad cause if the tool comes within range of some one else with the one key app it will send you an updated location:)
