Why is everybody part of a " crack " team these days ?
A crack team of IT consultants.
A crack team of gardeners.
A crack team of wallpaperers.

" In 1972, a crack team of wallpaperers was sent to prison for a crime they did not commit. These wallpaperers promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground........":ROFLMAO:
Drug dealers are part of a crack team

Rescued it recently from bin, washing machine, bin again and then hedge, but now alas after an hour of fruitless searching I think he's finally succeeded in ridding the household of access to the idiot box.
Make a note to return the favour with whatever device his life revolves around when he's a teenager :D

Messers.

Messer #1: Calls last Wednesday, definitely wants the thing but must speak the the business partner first.
Calls again in Friday, definitely wants the thing. Business partner phones up, too - definitely wants the thing. They both want the thing dismantled for transport, though... and the thing is a BIG thing.
I tell them I’ll dismantle it when it’s paid for.
They grumble, twist, twine... give it the old ‘we don’t want to pay for it until we’ve seen it’ line. Blah blah blah... but they eventually agree to pay, so I send them an invoice with BACS details. They’ll pay the invoice immediately and collect Wednesday (this Wednesday, today).
Lo and behold, no payment Friday.
No payment Monday.
No payment Tuesday... but a call to say their man would be here in the morning.
Wednesday (today) arrives. No lorry, no payment, no call.

Good job I didn’t take the thing to bits, eh?

Messer #2: Calls every other day for three weeks solid, trying to buy half of a thing I have for sale. Call after call, text after text. If I’m late replying, he calls or texts again. Plus several messages on eBay.
This guy is a real pain - he wants s the serial number of this tiny component. He wants the year of manufacture of that bolt. He wants s the length of the gap between cable ties holding two bits together. It was insufferable.
We finally get round to invoicing. It’s sent, then... nothing.
A week goes by (bare in mind that he was DESPERATE for this thing, hence the zillion calls) so a send him a message. Nothing. I call him. Nothing.
Get a text, today. Reckons his tractor has literally exploded and that he needs to sell it, so no need for the bits.
Splendid.

I love my job.

I find it really does stretch credibility to say it's for anti money laundering reasons. We have verified our identities and we sometimes pay cash into the account. Nobody at the bank has ever asked us where we get that cash from. It's ludicrous of them to think that these measures will stop money laundering. All these measures do is cause inconvenience for longstanding customers and drive them away, which I think might be the real intention.

I pity you @smcapstick .Why can't people just stop wasting other people's lives with bollo###. If they want to mess about wasting their own lives then that's just dandy. It grinds my gears thinking about these morons that think the world revolves around them and what they want. Rant over.

My little toad managed to make a Cheque book disappear. One for a share club that I’m supposed to be a responsible treasurer of, the night before I’m supposed to write 15 members a dividend cheque of 2k each. Embarrassing to say the least.

Serves me right for teaching her to tidy her own crap into the bin I suppose.

Someone posts an add wanting hay on FB.
I reply to the add saying, I've got some hay.
" Tidy I'll have some "
Send my address and phone number.
Someone else posts with some hay for sale.
Messer starts asking them questions.
All goes quiet.

A deal is a deal surely ?:banghead::banghead:
