Drying out, again!

Nice. Had the 7 weeks of no growth june/july...then it rained..i think we are on about 10 inches of rain since mid july
We got plenty of grass but no way to cut it

Same here. Opportunities for harvesting have been very poor since late July. Scarcely two completely dry days together. But that's just typical august for us.

September is going the same way. Showers every day this week, looks awful next week. I've just broadcast on three acres of grass seed this morning in the drizzle because it only looks like it's going to get wetter. Annoyingly I couldn't roll it as it was sticking. Just have to hope the birds don't wipe it out. Perhaps if theres a decent afternoon this week to put a skin on it I'll get it rolled.
