We did some bales in that really nice weather for a few customers. A couple of jobs lined up for the wagon now. Should of started mowing on Wednesday but customer didn't like the forecast. Right call really. I'm now really inching to get some done though.

Barenbrug's BarBumper mix having it second cut today in Derbyshire.
Drilled late August 2018 and having it's first cut later that year.

Alot of that stuffs all show and no go in my experience. Looks a great crop, then you go in with mower and not much there.
Agree. Our 1 year leys are dragging the average down considerably. Even tho they are waist high. The raked picture there the grass was about 6inches tall. Walk through it with ankle boots on and not get damp on a wet morning
