Fendt produce 60k tractors
They do. But it's still just a bog standard tractor on the running gear front. So max 40km/h on UK roads to stay legal.

I'm quite sure that if they could afford to retool all their factories and afford the R & D, whilst keeping competitive pricing, most manufacturers would have full suspension tractors. Luckily for JCB they started with a clean sheet and a new production line. The amazing thing is that despite getting a properly integrated full suspension setup on both axles, rear platform and 4WS on some models, they remain price competitive.

If you want to see how a Fendt/NH/Case/MF is put together, look at a Fordson F from the 1920's. Stick a spring in between the front axle and the engine and put a cab on with buttons instead of levers.

I'm not trying to start a color war but am inclined to say that in our fleet currently we have a 2018 4220 and 933 , not only is the fendt nicer to operate, It rides as well too fwiw
Fendt have a very capable 65k tractor

Do you have the option of getting the short bar axle and 60?

Btw. Have you got to run any of the new 900 series?

Not sure on short bar axle. Don’t think so but not priced a new one for a while.

No not even seen a new 900 yet. Hoping to see it today at a local fieldday. If it’s not there I’ll see it in 2 weeks at a bigger fieldday I know it’s going too. Looking forward to it. Think it will be a nice step up from current 900 and I don’t really need a 1000 series at moment

I remember seeing a profi article about 10 years ago, pictures of rear wish bone suspension set up on the back end of a large John Deere. Never heard anymore about it so must have been shelved.

That’s odd I’ve a 900 series here as well and I had a 4220 on demo, thought the 4220 was well ahead for comfort. Do agree that the fendt is nicer to operate tho. I mean to get the accumulators checked on our fendt as I find it quite bouncy.
