Westerners , it’s all gone terribly wrong .I'm afraid it's the same in a lot of US cities.

Sounds like you’re ahead of us on lockdown, certainly as regards your current status and the number of cases you have.I guess we'll find out here soon. Only 102 cases, 2 in hospital and no deaths but the borders are closed (to people not freight) and the PM has today, closed all schools and non essential businesses. Not sure if that includes Maccas.
Plus were heading towards winter

With the fine weather yesterday our small urban park was full of youngsters who definitely weren’t social distancing. May as well be at school because closing schools was meant to increase distancing. What’s the point?

St Merryn worked an extra day last week , seems to me there's extra demand not less. Will clean drop in back do you think? Logistically supermarkets won’t cope, they will have never had a pressure on supply lines like this before.
Parents can't seem to be able to get their kids to sit still for 5 mins.....they won't be able to bring themselves to say NO to little johnny when he tells them he is going outside ....he might just cry and get all upset and we can't have that !!Some stage this week the government will have to instruct parents to keep children at home 24/7 if it is serious about creating a firebreak, which I assume is the plan?!
I don't use McDonalds and probably never will but boy am I glad they exist ...... they clear up a huge amount of our cull cows and they employ a huge amount of people .. No we don't rely on them but they do play a large part in the economy . ........ never thought I would ever be sticking up for Muck D'sA population that relies on Mac Donald’s , Jesus wept their is no hope what a bunch of utter tossers the brits are ffs .
That's exactly what I think the furloughed 80% is why they are closing , no one will want to work now . Poor health service workers in the front line for 20% more .I reckon the Govt 80% payment for Furloughed employees ( isn’t that a great word) is what’s tipped the decision
Might find KFC Costa etc might all follow suit
They are also slightly better at creating and budgeting for very pro British agriculture adverts (AHDB take note)I don't use McDonalds and probably never will but boy am I glad they exist ...... they clear up a huge amount of our cull cows and they employ a huge amount of people ..
