Ah... do you know why they did that?
Not being sarcastic to you but the local council did it so it could be anything at a guess:
. They had money left over in their budget so instead of repairing the roads did this.
. The barrier they built created a bottleneck at the bottom by the main roundabout recreating a scene from the Monaco grand prix when the lights turn green.
. The original version was far to sensible and they thought drivers couldn't indicate and turn right.
. When taking the tractor and fusion through there they wanted to create a challenge so put the pedestrian crossing lights as close as possible to the road so you have to crawl through there.
. They created a solution to a problem that didn't exist.

Any of the above. but a friend's father was on the Council and got a fair bit of come-back, he said it was because trailers 'blocked' the carriageway from the upper to the lower roundabout. That is, of course, b*llocks.

I got dragged to a kfc , I had to ask permission to go to the toilet then ask permission to get out of toilet , I asked wtf is this about “ oh it’s the anti Socail behaviour “ I’m not asking any more was my reply , total sh!t hole never ever again food shyt n all greasy sh!t my dog eats healthier .

Think they are closed here now, along with most other take away outfits.
It will have a big knock on effect to anyone supplying them.
Wouldn't want a store full of chippers that was destined to the likes of McCain at the moment. Don't know what effect it will have on the beef job.
