What has it been treated with and when? Much N or S so far? Big or small doses? Any P or K?

The interveinal pale patches suggest Mg deficiency. Purpling suggests phosphate.

It’s had 220kg N/ha and 100kg S/ha applied and rained in, but no P&K.
If it is Mg deficiency would bittersaltz be beneficial and how much?

IF it's Mg deficiency, and I'm not saying it is, you want approx. 5 kg/ha Epsom salts. I've got osr crops looking ragged by weeks of icy cold winds that don't look a lot different to yours, (apart from looking more backward!). Stick some in next time you're going through with another chemical.

At about £1.50ha it’s probably worth if even if it isn’t.

How can anything be worth it if it isn't? Tell you what send me £1.50 that will be worth it even if it isn't. Sounds good to me. I will give you my Nigerian bank account details.
If it isn’t Mg deficiency.... poorly written I know ..... Don’t need much yield to pay for it and undetectable in the field.
