I’ve studied one man lime spreading for years it ain’t easy on the which machine front , best I could ever think of is wagon derived spreader like kiwis have and a tracked skid steer either towed or loaded inside spreader somehow .
Ontop if wagon no good then ?
When we stayed up in highlands few years ago round bridge of cally , stopped to watch two ontop spreading lime on some very steep in bye land , looked like a Squeaky bum territory. Will look for the pictures tonightOntop if wagon no good then ?
Much better ! He used to have an ontop years ago .There's a guy up here with a tractor and loader and a big land drive spreader it looks a bit of a dick around dropping the spreader every load but he had at least 1 big multi dock for pipes and cables and his PTO.
No idea of the potential output he was spreading on a farm I was doing fert for last week and was hauling it a long way as the wagons couldn't tip anywhere close .
Would a land drive be better in a field he was on some pretty steep stuff grass in the wet and I thought he was bloody keen there's bits of it isn't good with a mounted fert spreader.
Would a trailed with land drive be better on ploughed fields?
Landrive is great much before it’s time why it’s been abandoned I’ve no idea.
