Cost to build a house

To build a house is very expensive from my point of view. Also, you must be very patient because you will have to encounter a lot of problems. From my way of thinking, is better to buy an already built house. It's much cheaper and with no stress for you! I can give you a piece of advice on how to save some money. You can use the services of these guys https://deltadecking.co.uk. They will build your floor at a very cheap price and with the best materials. I hope that this will help you! I assure you that you won't be disappointed with them!

Mind you, modern houses built by developers could probably do with having a bit more spent on the materials, IMHO.
And the quality! The faults in new builds around here by the big boys are downright criminal. He who pays the building inspector the most decides what actually gets inspected it seems

Grenfell Tower anyone?

I've come across more than 1 new build successfully rejected for a refund under the Sale of goods act as unfit to sell.

Does the cost vary much across the country?

Talking to someone in January who's built new in Kent and Pembrokeshire he told me Jewsons charged twice the price in Kent for some materials. When he complained they just said "get it from Pembrokeshire then".

sky is the limit really but 100k is possible with some diy and lateral thinking

there was a series “the 100k house”. george Clarke i think thats well worth watching

plot value usually 1/3 of the finished property value
