giving the uk a reason to have a referendum and then not taking the risk seriouslyA “new” low! What was the old low?
giving the uk a reason to have a referendum and then not taking the risk seriously
gross negligence and complacency
But, but, but, that’s only two lows!
In the pantheon of great lows, those two barely cast a shadow.
Do you guys have any lows, so we could contrast and compare?
Yes we elected tony blurBut, but, but, that’s only two lows!

W e have come to expect nothing better from the unelected in the eu. Look after our own countryfolk before any other nation/s.
I like the deflection here. The usual apologists are trying to defend what is an utter humiliation for the EU. Just accept it and try to do better next time.
Very nice people. Hope we have an independent trade deal with them soon.Huh, you won’t catch me defending the invasion of Czechoslovakia

Which of the three differing presidents are you referring to ? Why does any body require three presidents unless it is the most hopelessly beaureacratic organisation on earth Perhaps this is why the EU is 3 months behind the EU with vaccine procurementNothing like keeping on repeating lies. If you can be bothered
UK elected MPs - 650 from whom the cabinet is appointed by the leader of the largest party.Yes, the European Parliament is different from Westminster – and British leaders never bothered to explain how
In this edited extract from his book, Fiction, Fact and Future: The Essence of EU Democracy, former MEP James Elles says that the EU’s structure is often unfamiliar to Britons – somethi…blogs.lse.ac.uk
House of lords - 811, 36 of whom were appointed by Boris, like Zac goldsmith who couldn't get elected.
MEPs - 705 elected from member states , from whom the President etc. are elected by the MEPs
I was referring to the fact that the EU Parliament is all elected and the UK governing body is not. As is pretty clear.Which of the three differing presidents are you referring to ? Do you want to delete that post? It has to be one of the most stupid I've ever read on here.I was referring to the fact that the EU Parliament is all elected and the UK governing body is not. As is pretty clear.
I could have phrased it better. For clarity.Do you want to delete that post? It has to be one of the most stupid I've ever read on here.
I have an inkling what you mean sometimes, but not in this instance. The EC is unelected yet is 'empowered' to make Primary Legislation - Regulations and Directives - and also to make / take sovereign acts, as we witnessed yestereve.I could have phrased it better. For clarity.
The EU Parliament is all elected, the House of Lords is not.
Boris sent 36 to the Lord's ,young Goldsmith was rejected twice , so his mate upped him to the Lord's.
You have Hereditary and appointed Lords. Bills are sent to the lord's for approval.
I think you know what I meant
