My wife and I that is. We never wanted to be part of it,and voted against it in the first referendum as well as the second, but 18 years ago we felt we needed to live somewhere warmer. I was castigated for living in Portugal during the lead up to Brexit, but, whilst I refused to go into detail, we had our reasons. I still refuse to divulge why we are here, but since we have always said that since we must die, we will do it in Scotland.
Scotland will not rejoin the EU in our lifetimes no matter what happens about so called Independence, but we have decided to leave the EU physically and mentally are enjoying the idea that we will be back "home" without interference from the likes of Verhofstadt, Juncker and Macron. They will be followed by similar people. Nicola will not be around forever.
