As per title in re Canada's forthcoming 'snap'election.
Chatted with a cousin over there early this morning, he voted for JT last time - despite being a Conservative - but won't this time. He thinks most Canadians are a bit peed off about what they think is an unnecessary election now, but that JT will probably win - but he wouldn't bet a lot on that happening.
He's in Halifax, but other family is in Vancouver and his work takes him all over the country, so he reckons he has a fair idea of what public opinion is. He's fairly 'political' without belonging to a party, so I trust his judgement; but I'll admit to being surprised how JT has remained ahead in the polls over there despite a rather lackluster performance and a bit of scandal.
Thoughts?
