whole evaporator will slide up if i recall when you push up the rubber grommet that the pipe comes through from underneath

to explain further the pipe you are replacing. Rubber grommet in cab floor. Push up from underneath tractor. then you can get to clamp bolt which is between the two pipes.

Mine did exactly the same but it was because I had disturbed it from its correct position when working on the exhaust. Make sure it’s routed as far away as possible from exhaust. Bit of a stupid idea really

And also. Those wee rubber mounts on pipe do that get pushed back in just worh screw driver? Or are they hugely important to get back in perfect

Iv part in. Habe connect up the rest so that’s last bit now. Have heat tape for the pipes and exhaust to stop ir happening again

Can not get those wee seals on for floor joint if that’s correct term. One side goes below the level and other side won’t budge

normally i put them in the hole, then silicone spray the pipe so it slides through them without dislodging them.
